Welcome!

The ongoing mission of Fashion Awards MD is to highlight, celebrate and recognize the talents of those who have made contributions to the fashion industry in the state of Maryland and beyond. Created in early Spring of 2011, its inaugural event held in June of 2012 attracted hundreds of attendees.

With dozens of categories ranging from photography to makeup, media to wardrobe, from hair to models and beyond, FAMD embraces all corners of fashion- from our fresh emerging talent of the future to the trail blazers who have directly influenced fashion over the years.

Who Attends?  In addition to Maryland’s top fashion nominees, our demographic audience ranges from the everyday enthusiast who enjoys fashion, the newest trends and hottest products, to members of the media, to influential industry professionals, to celebrities and everyone in between.  The attendee of a Fashion Awards MD event sees no specific gender, color, age or creed; they simply love fashion and the elements and excitement surrounding it.
