Lana Rae is the founder and producer of Fashion Awards MD, and is the CEO of KIS Agency. She has been in the fashion and modeling industry for more than 14 years. Lana started out as a model in high school and after a few years, realized that while she loved it- her true passion was behind the scenes. In the year 2004, KIS Agency was born. Among many other credits to date, Lana is the producer of the Macy’s Go Red for Women fashion show with the American Heart Association, as well as the producer, captain and model manager for Fashion Alley at Baltimore City’s African American Festival, attracting hundreds of thousands of consumers. In addition, she produces a number of fashion shows for various Macy’s store locations. Lana has also moderated the America’s Next Top Model online chat for the CW Network on a weekly basis during seasons and was the producer/coordinator and model manager for Fashion at Artscape, America’s largest free arts festival for four years. She is the founder and producer of “Catwalk for a Cause,” appears on WBAL-TV 11 News as a fashion expert and is the 2010 and 2011 award recipient as a “Woman of Power. In short, Lana Rae is a true advocate for the fashion industry who believes that while trends may come and go, fashion lives forever!
